How to Get The Most out of Your Sensual Massage Experience
Whether you're new to the world of FBSM, or just want to acquaint yourself with my expectations for new clients, this helpful guide covers the "do's" and "dont's" of getting a sensual massage.
* shower before your massage. (If you’re unable to shower before you arrive, I have a guest shower at my incall for your convenience.) Clean skin is easier to work with — the heat of a steamy shower helps to pre-relax your muscles.
* drink lots of water after your massage. It’s important to flush out toxins and re-hydrate for 24-48 hours following your session.
* Payment in full is always expected before your session begins. If you enjoy my services, tips are very much appreciated!
* During our initial intake meeting, please tell me about any prior injuries or chronic pain you have. Also let me know if you have bruising, painful or sensitive areas you'd like me to avoid.
* Please advise in advance if you have any allergies to specific scents, chemicals, flowers, or nuts. I use various aromatherapy oils, scented candles, and incense in my massage studio but can refrain from doing so upon request if you’re sensitive to scents.
I prefer to apply organic unfiltered coconut oil on my clients (it’s the best!) but will be happy to use a plant or flower-based lotion or unscented oil if you have sensitivities. You’re also welcome to bring your own massage product of choice and ask me to apply it during your session.
* Some clients feel more comfortable leaving their underwear on during the massage, and that’s fine. However if you’re at ease and feel safe I recommend that you drape with only a towel, as it’s difficult to give a proper lower back and hip massage with the fabric of clothing in the way.
* please don’t attempt to negotiate my rates, ask for sexual services, or “extras.”
* During the massage, your hands and body should remain in a relaxed, passive prone position, using the provided arm rest or at your sides. (It’s impossible for me to give a good massage on a client who is constantly raising up on their elbows, tossing/turning, or won’t lie still and relax.)
* Remember, sensual massage is a passive experience for the client; it is not interactive. Clients who get “handsy” or attempt to touch my body will be asked to leave immediately; no refunds are given for unused time.
* Please don’t offer to give me a massage. While I appreciate the kind gesture, untrained hands can do more harm than good. However I am always willing to trade/barter massage services with other certified and licensed MT’s.
* Communicate with me before, during, and after the massage about where it hurts, the amount of pressure you like, what feels good and what doesn’t. (“Ouch” is always a perfectly acceptable response!)
* If you have sensitive or ticklish feet, simply ask me to skip the foot massage.
* Like most massage therapists I work in clothing that allows me freedom of movement, such as yoga pants and a tank top. I don’t offer nude massage. Bikini and lingerie upgrades are available if you’d like to add them to your massage session package. See my SERVICES page for pricing. (These options must be added at time of booking, not upon arrival, as I will need time to change wardrobe between sessions.)
* If you are allergic or averse to cats, please let me know prior to your session time. I have a very gentle and friendly adult cat who is my mascot, welcoming committee, and studio assistant (that’s why my studio is called “Purrfect Touch Massage). She’s very well trained and stays quietly out of the way during your massage. I’ll remove her from the studio and clean/dust/vacuum before your arrival if you advise me that you’re allergic in advance of your session time.
* The best words any new client can say to me at the start of a session are: “You’re in control, I’m in your hands. I surrender my body fully and completely to you."
